Join our online gathering, “Matthew 25 in a era of mobile devices,” beginning at 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
For more information visit http://mobile.vinfamily.org/, follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
For six weeks a group of trail-blazers have been scouting out the possibilities of using mobile devices in the service of feeding the hungry, visiting the sick and imprisoned, sheltering the homeless, etc.
Digital media has transformed the world in the last 15 years. Now more than half the world is connected to the Internet via mobile phones.
This has provided unprecedented opportunities for us to connect, live out our faith, and have spiritual conversations with people across town, across the country, and across the world that were never before possible.
Mobile devices can help us be more effective in meeting direct needs, providing a voice for the marginalized, and looking at underlying causes and long-term solutions to the problems Jesus reminds us were important to him. Increasingly, people on the margins of society can benefit from, and indeed need, mobile phones to survive. Mt. 25 was one of Vincent de Paul’s favorite passages.
Join us from your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet. But do join us.

Yes, Apache works! Good luck on the project.
APache was not the problem unfortunately. We hope to have it ironed out one way or the other by this time next week.
