This video was created by the youth committee of the Capital Campaign for Daybreak, a project of Depaul USA, in order to raise awareness about homelessness in Bibb County. Depaul USA’s mission is to offer homeless and disadvantaged people the opportunity to fulfill their potential and move towards an independent and positive future. Everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Four hundred to five hundred men, women, and children are displaced without a permanent place to call their own in the city of Macon. A part of Daybreak’s mission is to help out in this area as much as possible by providing a place for the homeless and impoverished to escape the troubles of everyday life and relax for a moment. Daybreak believes everyone deserves to have the opportunity to reach their full potential
