Fr. Manuel F. Ginete, no stranger to attendees at Vincentian Family Gatherings, will preach the nine days (Nov. 14-22) of the Solemn Novena in preparation for the Feast of the Miraculous Medal. Bishop David O’Connell, CM will be principal celebrant and  homilist as the actual celebration of the feast.

Father Ginete was appointed Delegate of the Superior General for the Vincentian Family worldwide he finished  his mandate in 2010. In September 2011 he started his new mission in South Sudan. He served as  Rector of the Archdiocesan Regional Seminary of Seminario Mayor de San Carlos, Cebu city from 1986 to 1998, when he was elected Provincial Superior of the Philippine Province.

Bishop David O’Connel served as Rector of the Catholic University of America before being ordained as Bishop of Trenton.
