“One Cannot Love What One Does Not Know”

Nearly 500 people from all around Colombia took part in a day-long formation meeting at Medellin. Focusing on the theme “One Cannot Love What One Does Not Know”, the meeting invited all to deepen our understanding of our Vincentian work. A starting point for this objective was an analysis of the Circular Letters of Mr. Díaz-Torremocha.  These letters teach us to understand new forms of poverty, our mission of evangelization, the importance of person to person contact, and, as St Vincent de Paul said, to see Christ in the person of the poor.
