Louise de Marillac

Sister María Ángeles Infante, DC reflects on Saint Louise de Marillac as a woman of the church. Her contemplation of the mystery of the church and the ecclesial reality of that era led her to become a woman who was guided by the Spirit and who had a deep ecclesial understanding. My presentation will focus on three aspects: the ecclesial understanding of the faithful of the seventeenth century, Saint Louise’s understanding of the church, and the challenges for the Vincentian Family today. See Vincentian Encyclopedia.
