How about empowerment? Just loan a small amount at 0% interest to a prequalified Haitian business. Successful loans are repaid within a year, so you can lend again to another small business. Or, make a donation that will fund tuition for Haitian schoolchildren, clean water for villagers and other socially oriented projects. Help more. Do more. Do it sustainably.
