2011 AIC International Assembly of Delegates will address the theme “Education, A Pathway to Build Together”. The Assembly that will take place from March 30 to April 4, 2011 at El Escorial (Madrid), Spain.
Education in the general sense of the word, as a main tool to fight in a sustainable way the poverty situation in which a third of humanity lives, and that mainly affects women and girls. It will be the occasion for around 300 volunteers, delegates from 52 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the U.S.A., to share best practices from their experience in the 16.000 local projects they lead. In the US members are known as Ladies of Charity.
