National Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Maylasia Members of the Society of St Vincent de Paul from the four conferences in Negeri Sembilan congregated at the Parish of the Immaculate Conception in Port Dickson on Sunday, Sept 26 to participate in a festival assembly and fellowship as a Vincentian family commemorating the Feast of the Society’s Patron St Vincent de Paul at the 9.00am Sunday celebration of the Eucharist.
Urging SSVP conferences in parishes to work in collaborative spirit with Basic Ecclesial Communities (BEC), Fr Mari stressed, “With BEC collaboration, the SSVP conference could do so much more than give mere handouts. We can widen the scope of involvement. With enough resources for greater participation in our mission we can give fresh hope and new life. SSVP aid and support extend beyond all boundaries.
