An International Interdisciplinary Conference in Ireland will be co-sponsored by the Daughters of Charity and RESPECT in Ireland, and the Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies at Michigan State University. The conference will be held on October 16, 2010 at the Carton House, Maynooth, County Kildare.

The main purpose of this conference is to bring together the international science community and key principals in the helping professions to try to improve and enhance the quality of life for those with intellectual disabilities through the application of technology and research.
