The blog Spirit of the Daughters has posted a carefully selected list of projects sponsored by the Daughters of Charity around the world – Eritrea, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Poland, India and Rwanda. Peter Lemieux’s photo exhibition titled “Who Knows Tomorrow?” tells the stories of extremely neglected and rejected people from seven countries and how the Daughters of Charity work to assist them.
Lemieux, 39, is a San Francisco photojournalist who has been documenting the work of the Daughters of Charity – an order of Catholic nuns serving the poor across the world – for seven years. He first observed them in the late 1990s in Southeast Asia, while running an international medical relief program.
