Sister Veronica Marie Brost celebrated her 105th birthday Thursday — the day when all the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth traditionally renew their vows. Family and fellow nuns turned out for the party. Brost might even be the oldest living sister ever among the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth. During the celebration, Brost said she felt blessed because of a lot of the things she has had during her life. She also said she was thankful she has been a Sister of Charity. Full Story
