Zsuzsa and Veronika Siklos were two of over 100 children who escaped the Nazi concentration camps during the Second World War by hiding out in a Hungarian convent of the Daughters of Charity that came to be known as Guardian Angel House. Kathy Clark has written a novel, “Guardian Angel House” based on her mother’s (Veronika’s) experiences hiding in the convent.
