SVDP hiring draws crowds

By hiring 22 workers for its new store  the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is  stimulating the economy at the same time as it prepares to serve the marginalized. With more than 10 percent of Long Beach out of work, this came as great news for the hundreds who seek jobs. “I never thought I’d see the day that hiring would be news”
