Vincent ran a successful winery in support of his works so why not have a wine tasting fund-raiser for the Seton New Life Center. The first annual Seton Foundation’s “Sipping with Seton†wine tasting event raisesd $32,000.The event proceeds will purchase ten new state-of-the art baby bassinettes for the Seton Medical Center Women and Newborn department as well as support the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton New Life Center.
The Seton Foundation is one of the ways the Daughters of Charity n California are able to support their cretive and compassionate service of the sick and the poor in the Daly City, California area. “Sipping with Seton” is one of the more cretive ways they support the work.
The project drew much favorable coverage in the local community.
There was a similar event to benefit St. Vincent de Paul in Baltimore.
