St. Vincent’s College, Bridgeport, founded as a school of nursing in 1905 by the Daughters of Charity, will welcome Martha Shouldis as its third president next week reports the Connecticut Post.
St. Vincent’s College became a college in 1991.
Currently 3 Daughters serve on the Board of Trustees: Sister Marie Burns, D.C., Chairperson, Sr. Mary Anne Brawley, DC, and Sr. Florence Edward Kearney, DC.
It is affiliated with St. Vincent’s Medical Center where Sr. Louise Gallahue, DC serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees.
