Famvin.org has restructured the way it can be searched and made other improvements. By way of a quick example try the following search for Maloney, one of the most popular writers on matters Vincentian.
Using some new capabilities provided by Google our search box will now search not only famvin and its archive more effectively but also the Vincentian Encyclopedia and cmglobal.org bringing more targeted searching for Vincentian related topics.
Thus, searching for Maloney will yield almost 150 references to the former Superior General and gifted writer. Of course one can still go to Google to search the entire web and return more than 7 million hits for the word Maloney!
If there is interest, at a later point we will include the database of VINCENTIANA, the international journal of the Congregation of the MIssion. At present a search for articles authored by Maloney in currently available volumes would yield the links to some 50 articles . In the meantime, try the direct link to the English version of VINCENTIANA so you can do your own searching by author, title, phrase, etc.
We hope this enhanced searching will make it easier for you find what you seek.
