The largest assembly yet of the Vincentian Family will gather in New Orleans next week, April 10 – 12. “Hearts to love and Hands to Serve…. by praying, listening, learning, understanding, sharing and gardening….” is the theme.

The goals of this fourth annual gathering are to

  • Listen to the stories of hope and despair in New Orleans
  • Experience collaboration in renewing New Orleans
  • Serve, reflect, share and pray together
  • Discern our future commitment to be “a voice with the voiceless” in bringing about systemic change

Attendees include 12 Ladies of Charity, 16 members of the Congregation of the Mission, 72 Daughters of Charity, 19 Sisters of Charity, 63 members of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, 1 Trinitarian, 10 Vincentian Young Adults, 12 members of the Vincentian Service Corps, and 10 other individuals of various affiliations and backgrounds.
