December 28 edition of Lafayette “The Daily Adviser” contains an article briefing the recent doctrinal note on evangelization. The article focuses on the need of spreading the Gospel not only by clergy but by lay people as well. We can read:
“Evangelization is not just for clergy.
Reaching out to nonbelievers has always been a part of the Catholic faith, and recently the Vatican called on all followers to evangelize without fear of infringing on others beliefs.
Spreading the word of Christ is a duty of Christians, according to a recently released doctrinal note from the Vatican and it’s one that is endangered by growing relativism.
