What Do You Believe in Ask Daughters of Charity

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–At the beginning of the summer, St. Vincent’s Health System launched a new branding campaign entitled, “Care You Can Believe In” across Central Alabama. As healthcare professionals, every day they demonstrate how beliefs can make a difference and wanted to provide an opportunity for the community to share theirs.

The advertising campaign first featured a series of outdoor billboards, broadcast television commercials and print ads which posed the question “What do you Believe?” The question was answered with statements such as “I believe in long weekends,” “I believe little things matter” and “I believe experience is the best teacher.”

Additionally, the campaign invited the public to visit the campaign website (www.whatdoyoubelieve.net) to post their own beliefs and read the beliefs of others. On the site, the public could post their beliefs in the categories of care, community, education, faith, family, friends, humor, love, pop culture, role models and work. Designed to engage the public, more than 480 responses were posted and 6,196 visits were made to the site during the initial launch of the “What Do You Believe?” campaign.

On July 2, the integration of Eastern Health System into St. Vincent’s Health System became official. Today, they publicly announced the facility name changes associated with the change in ownership for Eastern Health facilities and the modification of St. Vincent’s Hospital’s name. These changes will be formally announced at a facility celebration to be held this week.

The system will be able to make an even greater impact on the health of the community by connecting five facilities: St. Vincent’s Birmingham (St. Vincent’s Hospital), St. Vincent’s East (Medical Center East), St. Vincent’s Blount (Medical Center Blount), St. Vincent’s St. Clair (St. Clair Regional Hospital), and St. Vincent’s One Nineteen Health & Wellness.
