Here’s another way to start getting ready for WYD in Sydney! In an attempt to link Vincentian Youth all over the globe in preparation for World Youth Day 2008, the Vincentian Eastern Province Youth and Young Adult ministry has created a new Facebook group called “famvinFB — tracking Jesus, talking about Vincent, and more . . .” If you don’t know about Facebook, talk to your Vincentian youth and let them know about the group. Sydney is a long distance journey for many of us, but the internet social networking possibilities are endless! So let’s get things started on Facebook — posting pictures, having discussions, and connecting the young family.
