Similarly, many of the financial pressures synonymous with day-to-day living, such as bills, utilities, medical costs, car expenses, education and rent or mortgage payments often prove extraordinarily difficult for many of those within the community to manage.
In line with the ethos of the Vincentian vocation, the Society works in many ways towards alleviating the immediate problems faced by those experiencing exceptional financial pressures; however, it also aims to break the debt cycle by assisting those in need to realise manageable, long-term solutions.
