Manila (UCAN) — Filipino Vincentian Father Agustin Advincula in Lebanon says 170 Filipinos taking refuge in his church in eastern Beirut have like many others who want to leave the Middle East country and reunite with worried relatives back home.
Filipino Vincentian Father Agustin Advincula spoke to his homeland on July 19 over Philippine television from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Ashrafiyeh in East Beirut. He reported that 170 Filipino workers are served by the church, where he is the parish priest.
