Manuel Sanchez writes: If you’re looking for a full time “job” that will have a lasting effect on
the lives of young children, consider becoming a member of the Society of
St. Vincent de Paul – Circle V Ranch Camp Staff as a Camp Counselor.
Base line requirement: Patience and love of children and outdoors.

García, Camp Director, at 323/224-6213.

As an aside: The camping program at the Circle V impacts young people in
profound ways. Many of the kids who go to camp have never been out of their
own neighborhood; many others have never seen the Milky Way, a forested
area, or a real lake or river. These kids thrive in an atmosphere of caring
and compassion that helps build their self-esteem and nurtures their love of
nature and God. Ricardo often tells his staff that a person doesn’t have to
go out of this country to do missionary work – it can take place right here.
