Sister Carmel will now visit the sick poor at Seton Medical Center in Daly City where
she will share her quick wit and gift of laughter with patients there. She is not sure if she will transfer her
strong allegiance to her beloved Oakland A’s to the Giants of San Francisco, but with a hearty laugh, she is
off to the new challenge.A native of San Francisco, and a Daughter of Charity for 73 years,
Sister Carmel celebrated her 90th Birthday on June 21, 2005.
