Pope Signs First EncyclicalWIKIPEDIA already has an article on Benedict the XVI’s first encyclical.
For those not familiar with WIKIPEDIA it is a user created encyclopedia available in just over 200 languages.
Not all the lanugages are active and the English version is by far the most developed having close to a million articles in just a few short years.
I must admit I was initially quite skeptical of this approach. However after watching its growth for over six months I began to realize it works.
In fact in a blind peer review study the scientific articles in Wikipedia were very nearly as accurate as the comparable articles in Brintannica.
