Liberal, Conservative, left wing and right wing: these are terms one would normally associate with political candidates and their campaigns, up until now. Today, the terms “liberal” and “conservative” have become hot-button words across America’s college campuses.
While DePaul may be at the center of this crux of liberalism and “conservative correctness,” many said they think that the university has been able to strike an acceptable balance. Faith and liberal ideas, and the students and faculty that believe in their words and thoughts, coexist at DePaul, despite the constant struggle that people experience in the fight to find level ground.
