The Daughters of Charity Great Britain website offers news & pictures from the Make Poverty
History rally in Edinburgh yesterday in which DCs, AIC, SVP, CMs and
other branches of the Family took part.Daughters of Charity, and members of the Vincentian Family were among the 250,000 who came from all corners of the UK into Edinburgh on Saturday, 2nd July to call for an end for poverty and trade injustice.

Stretching out across The Meadows they formed part of a seemingly endless sea of white, (everyone had been asked by the rally organisers to wear white to create an enormous BIG WHITE BAND around Edinburgh city centre) as they waited in line to start their march around Edinburgh.
