The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is calling for tax breaks, which allow the wealthy to get away with paying little or no tax, to be suspended.The charity organisation has made a submission to the Department of Finance about various tax incentives including tax breaks for stud farm owners.
SVP Vice President John Monaghan said there are dozens of abuses going on and that it is deplorable that 11 millionaires paid no tax last year.
