The Miraculous Medal site has posted more details of its April 5-19, 2005 pilgrimage to Czestochowa.”Our pilgrimage in the spring of 2005 will take us to Poland. We will see the famous Marian shrine of Czestochowa. We will go through Krakow, home of Pope John Paul II. In Warsaw we will visit the Vincentian parish that goes back to the time of Saint Vincent himself. There is also a lot of modern Catholic history in Poland, a country that kept its faith throughout the difficult Communist years. And our itinerary includes Auschwitz, where thousands of Catholics were imprisoned for their faith. During our stay in Poland we will enjoy a week-long cruise on the Vistula River aboard the 5-star MV Frederic Chopin.”
