From Father Charles Shelby of the Miraculous Medal Aossociation… “Each issue of Catholic digest has a section, “Love Your Neighbor,” that features one or two Catholic charities. In the January issue the feature is the Association of the Miraculous Medal (page 34). We chose to work from our support of caring for orphans in the poorest slums of Nairobi.
In editing the article, they ended up with some factual errors about the hundredth anniversary of the medal being this year rather than 1930, so Father Joe Finney is rising from 43 years in the grave to build a shrine!
