While each Family group in the Vincentian Family has its own goals and mission, there are some common challenges that we all share–
FORMATION. Lots of us do great work on behalf of the poor–but how much do we really know of and appreciate St. Vincent, Louise, Frederic and Rosalie, etc.? How can we more effectively form our members spiritually? Catch the fire?!
YOUTH. Our groups are getting grayer and grayer–how can we attract and invite young people to join us and carry out our mission into the next generation? Some great success stories will be shared along with the “How To’s”.
ADVOCACY. In a rapidly changing economic and political climate, how do we effectively stand up for and advocate on behalf of the poor? What opportunities are there to change the structures that oppress?
