“The Catholic Weekly” (Sidney, Australia) has a weekly column by the President of the St. Vincent dePaul Society.This week’s subject concerns help for gambling addicts. “The St Vincent de Paul Society’s Special Work, GAME, is a gambling counselling service which helps problem gamblers battle their addiction.”
The previous week’s coolumn reported on SVDP “Twinning”. “The Society in NSW and the ACT currently supports more than 600 overseas conferences through twinning. Twinning refers to mutual support between an Australian conference and one operating in a developing country. ”
