The AIC international President, Anne Sturm, sent the following statment of solidarity with the people of Urkaine. – The AIC has been very active in the Urkraine over the past few years.The AIC, in solidarity with volunteers from Ukraine, supports the Ukrainian people struggling with determination and courage for more justice and democracy – we pray that their non-violent fight may be successful – may the Lord be with them and protect them!
In the language of AIC “volunteers” refers to members of its various national group such as the Ladies of Charity USA.
