Vincentians and Society supporters have been very generous in responding to the National Council’s recent call for disaster funds, in response to the recent hurricane crises. During the month of October, $140,453 was received in contributions to the Disaster Fund. Also during the month of October, disaster funds were distributed in the following amounts: $5,000 to the Council of Pensacola/Tallahassee, $5,000 to the St. Catherine Conference Sebring, $5,000 to the Council of Orlando, $20,000 to the Council of Martin County and $10,000 to the Council of Wheeling/Charleston. Thank you for your continuing help; remember, the Society is always involved, and “on the ground”, when and after disaster strikes.
