PBS continues to run its series on the “The New Americans,” which puts a human face on issues of immigration and poverty (the story of a Mexican family is especially moving). EfJ recommends that you have your group/class watch the series, or that you tape it for later viewing, and hold discussions on immigrants and Catholic Social Teaching, using some of our materials on this topic.
