Pope John Paul II will this Sunday declare Blessed Matilde Téllez Robles, founder of
the Congregation of the Children of Mary Mother of the Church. Matilde was at one time the president of the Children of Mary, now known as
Vincentian Marian Youth, in BÈjar, Salamanca, Spain. She was also very
active with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
