St. John’s University has broken ground for its first-ever free-standing church. .. the web cam pictures are refreshed every 15 minutes
From the web site… Construction began in October 2002 on the new St. Thomas More Church, made possible by a $10 million gift from the family of John Brennan (’63SJC, ’66L). The church will seat more than 350 people and is scheduled to be completed in September 2004.
