CM Seminarians of Western Europe meet at birthplace of Vincent

Fifth interprovincial meeting for Vincentian seminarians (students) from the Provinces of Poland and Slovakia and the Vice-Province of Sts. Cyril and MethodiusSecond Session of Seminarians at the Berceau (Birthplace of Vincent).

For the second consecutive year, the Session for the CM Internal Seminarians of Western Europe was held at the Berceau (France) from 26 May to 13 June. The group was composed of 18 seminarians coming from Spain, Portugal, Italy and France, and by five accompanying priests, coming from different provinces of Italy, Spain and France.

In a fraternal and studious atmosphere, the following topics, among others, were treated: “Our vocation together today in the spirit of St. Vincent” (J.-P. Renouard); “New challenges for the mission today” (C. Sens); “The Vincentian Community” (J. Vega). This experience is an important starting point for the seminarians in following Christ, Evangelizer of the poor.

Fifth Meeting of Students.

From 23-27 June, in Kraków (Poland) the fifth interprovincial meeting for Vincentian seminarians (students) from the Provinces of Poland and Slovakia and the Vice-Province of Sts. Cyril and Methodius was held.

The main theme of this meeting was “Jesus Christus – Regula Congregationis Missionis.” The conferences were given by the Directors of the Seminaries in Poland (A. Borowski and B. Zapotoczny) and in Slovakia (J. Noga and L. Ka__ák). The meditations were prepared according to the main theme of the meeting. The visits to various places were in relation to the religious life and the charism of St. Vincent.
