Daily reports from the General Assembly of this branch of the Vincentian Family.On Sunday evening, June 1st, 2003 our Chapter will officially open. Today the weather is mild and a breeze from the Lake Eufaula greets the arriving delegates. This is a historic event. We are gathered in the state where our congregation was founded, only 20 minutes from Holy Trinity, Alabama. Even more significantly, our brother STs are also holding their Chapter here at Lakepoint State Park. Our chapters only fall in the same year once every 20 years, and have never been conducted in the same location before. We will have opportunity for one joint session of delegates, shared liturgies, and social time together.
