Reaching out to Nigeria from St. Peter’s Phibsboro.
The Vincentian Nigerian Missions began in 1960. Since its beginning the people of St. Peter?s, Phibsborough have given continued financial support to the work of the Mission. The fruit of this support is borne in the growth of the Mission both in terms of personnel and ministries.
At present the Nigerian Vincentian Province comprises of 43 priests, 1 brother and about 100 seminarians. Ministries have also grown through Parishes, Schools, Retreat Work, Development work, Formation Work, Prison Visitation and Special Education. The growth both in personnel and development in ministries incurs both capital and ongoing expenses, so once again we depend on your support for this continued growth over the coming year.
