The celebration of the 50th anniversary of the arrival in Bolivia of the Daughters of Charity from the Emmitsburg Province began on October 10, 2002. The Sisters of the Emmitsburg Province arrived on October 8th.
They were :

Sr. Cora Anne Signaigo
Sr. Bertha Robertson
Sr. Mary Bernard Robinson
Five Sisters from the Northeast Province arrived on October 9th. The Anniversary began on October 10th with the Liturgy celebrated in the Seton School of Nursing with the theme: THE MISSIONARY CHARISM. A reception was held for all who attended the Mass and dinner was provided for the American visitors.
