During the week of October 14, a meeting of the National Conference of Visitors (NCV) took place at the Lazarist Residence in St. Louis. In attendance were the five provincials (also known as “Visitors” in the Vincentian tradition) of the United States, and Rev. Robert Maloney, CM, the current Superior General.

Fr. Maloney’s attendance at this meeting was essential, as it was he who mandated the creation of the Conference this past year. The primary aim of the NCV is to create a common mission plan for the five provinces, and establish the means by which resources, especially personnel, can be better allocated across provincial boundaries.
