The Vocation TeamWorks office of the Midwest province has recently
completed the creation of a Vocation Web Site as a tool in vocation
promotion and recruitment. It is site designed for the 18-39 year-old
age group–which means it must be quick to read as well as graphic
friendly. Since most in this age group have easy access to Broadband
Internet (at their universities or employment) we decided for a
visually stimulating site rather than a text heavy one. To that end, be
forewarned: if you are on a dial up modem it might be slow to load.
The site will be continually updated so please let me know your
suggestions or additions (or deletions?). Most importantly, please give
the URL address out. We hope you will use it in whatever way you wish. It
might be just the “hook” that someone needs to make contact. Let me know
how I can help.
