“Last Saturday there was the annual Vincentian pilgrimage to Knock. The basilica was full and St. Peter’sPhibsboro had two coaches, with pilgrims from Aughrim St. and other surrounding areas, included.
“”There was an absence of five years before Wordsworth returned to Tintern Abbey. In the intervening time he was sustained by the beauty of the place and above all by the presence of a life which permeates all things. We hope that the Presence we encountered will sustain us, and those for whom we prayed last Saturday in Knock.”
