Gathering from across Canada and Peru,
Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception (SCIC)
and Associates pledged to deepen their commitment
to social justice, especially for women and children.
Meeting at Villa Madonna retreat house in
Saint John, NB, July 1-11 for their
congregational chapter,
88 Sisters and Associates also agreed
to demonstrate greater care for the earth,
and to increase their involvement with
young adults.
