St. Vincent School of Theology forming missionaries for Asia-Pacific and the world “The Vincentians in the Philippines, wanting to provide their own candidates with a specific academic-pastoral formation and desirous to contribute in the education of candidates for the local clergy, opened the St. Vincent School of Theology in the school-year 1985-1986. Affiliated to the Adamson University Graduate School, SVST grants the degree of Master of Arts in Theology after four years of intensive theological studies.”
The M.A. in Theology program aims to prepare seminarians for their future ministry by providing them with basic knowledge of the theological disciplines ( biblical-historical-dogmatic-moral studies ). At the same time, it also seeks to foster an atmosphere for deeper reflection on the theological doctrines relating them to contemporary Philippine situation. It also aims to furnish the necessary skills to communicate effectively this living Christian message to the Filipino Christian today.
