On May 22, 15 archivists from various religious Congregations met at the General Curia. They evaluated the work of the past year and proposed plans for next year. During 2001, the archivists visited the renovated archives of the Jesuits in Rome, the archives of other Congregations, and discussed topics concerning confidentiality and access to archives, and provincial archives.
During the meeting, Fr. Rolando DelaGoza, Archivist and Procurator General, presented the book, A Guide to Jesuit Archives, written by Fr. Thomas McCoog, S.J. and published in 2001.
