Project: “Strengthening existing projects in feeding the hungry”.

Members: VFCC: – AIC Laddies of Charity, CM – Congregation of the Mission, DC – Daughter of Charity, SSVP – Society of St. Vincent de Paul, COM-VMY – Children of Mary – Vincentian Marian Youth, YLAC – Young Ladies Association of Charity , SVDPFI – St.Vincent de Paul Foundation, Inc. DCAAA – Alumn Feeding Program in DC Schools Adopted Barabgays, SMC – Sisters Handmaid of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul , FC -Brothers of Charity.

Objective: Strengthen and document projects.

Tipe: Solving and collaboration.

Advances:

VFCC: Food Depot for victims of disasters in Payatas Dumpsite, Mt. Pinatubo and Mayon Volcano Eruptions and Mindanao conflict areas.

VFCC: Annual sharing of meal with the poor on Vincentian Feasts

VFCC: individual members programs to provide foor for the hungry.

  • AIC: Feeding program in Day Care Centers and Homes for older persons.

  • CM: Feeding program in St.Vincent de Paul Parish an other Centers

  • DC: Meals on Wheel.s, Soup Kitchen and other forms of sharing food at lower prices.

  • SSVP: Supplemental feeding program for children and nursing mothes in Manila, Bicol, Cebu, Iloilo and other conferences.

  • COM-VMY: Sharing program with public schools, malnorished children in Tabaco, Albay and other centers.

  • YLAC:Feeding program for malnourished children in Cebu and other centers.

  • SVDPFI: Support of seminarians’ nutritional well-being.

  • DCAAA: Alumn Feeding Program in DC Schools Adopted Barabgays.

  • SMC: Feeding program (food baskets for indigent families)

  • FC: Feeding program for the handicapped in Caritas Manila.

Proyect: Federation of Vincentian family Multi-Purpose cooperative to fight against world hunger

Members: VFCC ( AIC Laddies of Charity, CM C Congregation of the Mission, DC Daughter of Charity,SSVP Society of St. Vincent de Paul, COMVMY Children of Mary Vincentian Marian Youth, YLAC Young Ladies Association of Charity ,SVDPFI St.Vincent de Paul Foundation, Inc. DCAAA Alumn Feeding Program in DC Schools Adopted Barabgays,SMC Sisters Handmaid of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul ,FC Brothers of Charity.

Objective:

  • Long Term: Increase membership/sharing, thrift stores, cooperative extensions, training and support of medical missions and Soup kitchen.

  • Short Term: Three day sale and trade fair on Vincentian Feast and Dawn Masses.

Tipe: Solving, collaboration, Attack the causes.

Proyecto: Lucha contra el Hambre

Ramas: FV

Objetivo: Hacer a todos los miembros de la comunidad consciente del problema del hambre a nivel global

Tipología: Ayudar los pobres concretamente

Avances: Distribuir arroz y azúcar a familias necesitadas del pueblo con los ahorros diarios y sacrificios

-Ayuno los viernes y lo que se ahorra se da a la campaña del hambre

– cada primer domingo del mes, las Hermanas y los que viven con ellas no comerán carne y el dinero ahorrado se dará a los pobres

– Ayudar a los 15 estudiantes pobres de la parroquia en entrenamiento vocacional como informática, sastrería y carpintería

– Dar arroz a 10 viudas de un pueblo cada semana .
