Soon after October Week 1999, in Dickinson, Texas, Lou Franz and I visited our confreres in the Northern Province of India. Our shared journey included giving a course in Vincentian Spirituality to the novices and visiting a number of the province’s mission stations in the state of Orissa — Lou remained two more weeks to guide retreats for the Vincentians .
