The Provincial Leaders of the Congregation of the Mission meet in ManilaThe recent meeting of the Asia Pacific Visitors Conference (APVC) in Manila was attended by Fr Manny Ginete CM, Province of the Philippines; Fr John Ranasingh CM, Province of Northern India; Father Jose Aikara CM, Province of Southern India; Fr Maurice Sullivan CM, Province of Australia, Fr Antonius Sad Budianto CM Province of Indonesia ; Fr John Wang CM, Province of China; Fr Tran Cong Du CM, Delegate of Vietnam; Fr Victor Bieler CM , Assistant General for the Missions; Fr Hugh O’Donnell CM, Executive Secretary APVC.
A special welcome was given to Fr Tran Cong Du from Vietnam. Matters discussed included the positive reaction to the Formators Meeting in Fiji last year; the newly established Asia Pacific Centre set up at Adamson University, Manila; further development of the concept of the Asia Pacific Forum and hopes to develop further a ‘Vincentian’ face in Asia Pacific.
